This Refund Policy explains how payments, cancellations and refunds work for subscriptions to the Plandentic platform. It forms part of the Plandentic Terms of Service that a clinic accepts when it registers. Plandentic is offered to dental practices, clinics and other healthcare providers - businesses, not consumers.
Try Before You Pay
Every new clinic can use Plandentic free of charge for 14 days, and can extend the trial once by a further 14 days from within the platform. No payment details are needed for the trial and nothing is charged during it. A subscription starts only when the clinic chooses a plan and completes the checkout.
Cancelling Your Subscription
Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly and renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. A clinic can cancel at any time from Plans & Billing in the platform, or by writing to info@plandentic.com.
- The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and nothing is charged after that.
- The clinic keeps full access until the end of the period it has paid for.
- After that, the clinic keeps read-only access and can export its data for 30 days, as set out in the Terms of Service.
Refunds
Amounts already paid are not refunded, including for the unused part of a billing period, except in these cases:
- Charged in error. A payment taken by mistake - for example a duplicate payment, or a renewal charged after a cancellation took effect - is refunded in full.
- A core function removed. If we remove a core function of a paid plan during a period the clinic has paid for and do not offer an equivalent, we refund the remaining part of that period pro rata.
- Required by law. Where applicable law requires a refund, we provide it. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded by contract are not affected by this policy.
Changing Your Plan
- Moving to a larger plan, a larger team size, or from monthly to yearly billing applies at once. The difference for the rest of the current period is charged pro rata.
- Moving to a smaller plan, a smaller team size, or from yearly to monthly billing takes effect at the next renewal. The current period is not refunded, and the clinic keeps what it paid for until the renewal.
Price Changes
We give at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of a subscription. A price change never applies to a period that has already been paid.
How to Request a Refund
Write to info@plandentic.com with the clinic's name and the invoice or order number from the receipt Paddle e-mailed you. You can also contact Paddle directly at paddle.net, where you can look up your order. Approved refunds are paid back by Paddle to the original payment method; how long they take to appear depends on your bank or card provider.
